Canyon is hosting our first silent auction starting at our March guild meeting. At this meeting—and at many monthly guild meeting—we’ll be auctioning off 3-4 bundles of fabric. Are you ready to shop and play? Then keep reading to learn more.

FAQS For Signing Up & Bidding
Do I need an account to view the items in the auction?
Participants can view an auction without an account. An account is only needed for entering bids.
Do I need an account to bid on items in the auction?
Anyone with a link to our online auction can view it without having an account. So use the link above and check out the current auction.
You only needed an account in order to bid. The process is quick and very little information is required as you can see on the Create An Account page. Requiring an account for bidding makes it easy for auction administrators to identify and communicate with bidders during and after the auction.
There's an item I love and I want to know when someone else bids. How do I do this?
To be notified of all bidding activity on an item, add the item to your Watchlist by clicking the heart on the item so it turns pink. You can view the items which are in your Watchlist by clicking the heart button on the auction bar (next to the Search box).
What is a proxy bid? And an exact bid?
A proxy bid allows you to enter the maximum amount you’re willing to spend with the goal of winning the item at the lowest possible price. The system will bid for you, up to your maximum proxy bid amount, as additional bids are entered on the item.
An exact bid is the amount you want the item’s current selling price to immediately jump to. Your bid amount will not change as additional bids are entered on the item.
To enter a proxy bid, enter your maximum bid amount, click the Proxy Bid button, and then submit your bid. If you don’t see the Proxy Bid button, the auction administrator has turned off this option.
To enter an exact bid, enter your bid amount, click the Exact Bid button, and then submit your bid. If you don’t see the Exact Bid button, the auction administrator has turned off this option.
What emails do I receive and how do I change them?
To unsubscribe from all notifications, including auction notifications, you’ll need to cancel your account. Please see How do I cancel my account? for more information.
Almost all notifications are related to participating in an auction and are only sent while the auction is running. Please see What notifications are sent, when are they sent, and can they be customized? for more information.
The following instructions explain how to unsubscribe from specific notifications:
You can unsubscribe from notifications about bid activity on items you’ve added to your Watchlist. To unsubscribe from all Watchlist notifications, click the Edit My Account Information link on the My Account page and then uncheck the box next to “Notify me of bid activity on items in My Watchlist”.

How do I pay for an item I win?
Did you place a winning bid? Then the Canyon Treasurer will email you an invoice and payment methods. You pay using a credit card, debit card or PayPal, where each of these payments is through the PayPal interface.
Alternately, you can arrange with the Treasurer to pay when the item(s) is delivered (using a check and attaching it to a copy of the invoice).
Once I pay for my item(s) how do I get my item(s)?
The Canyon Treasurer informs the auction administrators when payment is complete. After that, we reach out to you, most likely using email, to arrange delivery.
